I’ve been wondering for some time why when I buy a casebook I can’t also have access to a PDF of said book. Actually, come to think of it, it would be better if I could also have the option to buy the book in some sort of loose-leaf or by-chapter pamphlet format. I find it extremely annoying that I have to haul an entire book with me all day, when I only have to read 40 pages for a given class session.
Maybe I’ve been hanging out in webdev land for too long.
Yeah, it’s fairly crazy, isn’t it? I’m making the most of public domain documents in electronic form, like the UCC and FRCP. I’ve mirrored HTML versions I’ve found online, and my Mac’s “Spotlight” makes it really easy to search and jump to any section.
